What You’ll Do

  • Oversee all creative direction for 2-3 studio productions per week, including art direction, crew management, and managing and interviewing talent.

  • Prep high-profile experts, academics and business and thought leaders for interviews by helping them shape their ideas into tangible concepts for a wide audience.

  • Review cuts and provide feedback.

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of a series of videos for each expert from development to distribution.

What You’ll Need

  • 5-10 years of directing experience.

  • A background in directing educational, direct to camera interview style long and short form documentaries.

  • Experience working with high-profile talent preferred.

  • Positive, hard-working, can-do attitude with excellent problem solving skills.

  • Very strong attention to detail and time management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up and learn quickly.

  • Great communication skills through written and verbal communication.

  • A lifelong learner, curious about the world, able to easily synthesize and communicate complex ideas and excited about making them accessible to a wide audience.
